Professional Video and Photography Services
What began as a casual hobby soon evolved into a deep passion for Stephen Prater. Initially, he started taking photographs informally for a car club he was involved with, but quickly discovered a growing enthusiasm for capturing images of all kinds. This interest became a creative obsession, and he devoted himself to developing his skills, mastering composition, exposure, and other fundamental aspects of photography.
As his craft improved, opportunities followed. Stephen began receiving paid assignments for a variety of events, including weddings, fashion shows, headshots, and promotional materials for businesses. Despite his growing success, he eventually faced a period of creative burnout, losing the passion that had once driven him.
However, a few years later, God reignited that passion in him and inspired him to return to school to pursue a degree in film and television and to build meaningful connections in the industry. After graduating, he secured his first professional production role at CBSViacom, which marked the beginning of his career in the production industry.
Since then, Stephen has worked on numerous television, film, and documentary sets, serving in various roles including production assistant, camera assistant and operator, grip, and production coordinator. Collaborating with talented professionals on these sets inspired him to begin writing, which ultimately led to the production and direction of his first short film, Grudge Match.
Grudge Match premiered on April 26, 2024, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Ontario, California. The film centers on the powerful theme: "The Healing Power of Forgiveness."
